Common Call meets Thursdays at 5 pm at Christ Episcopal Church (just off campus, next to Leach Theatre) for dinner and a discussion of current events from a progressive Christian perspective! We generally use The Wired Word as a conversation starter. In addition, both sponsoring churches have events; you are encouraged to worship with them and get involved in their congregational life.
We are a registered student organization (RSO) at Missouri University of Science and Technology. We are also members of the Campus Ministries Association and co-sponsor events with them.
The advisors are Jonathan Kimball from First Presbyterian Church and Lucy Behrendt from Christ Episcopal Church.
